Clear your closets for the latest clothing sensation: Kardez Clothing. The two founders of the budding brand are Beaver Area seniors Rye Boeh and Danyal Dikec.
Kardez has generously stated that 20 percent of their profits will be donated to the Dragonfly Recovery Center for mental health. Kardez also plans on raising this percentage in the future once they grow as a company.
Rye and Dan both came to the conclusion that their motivation for this positive mission was from the horrible mass shootings in the recent years such as the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting. Most of these terrible events were connected through those who suffered from mental health issues.
The young entrepreneurs also stated, “we wanted to gain experience in the world of business, and [help] to solve a problem which can really make the world better.”
Currently Kardez offers four shirt styles: classic T-shirt, long-sleeve T-shirt, graphic crop top T-shirt, and the crop top hoodie. Each shirt is available in different colors, with two new and exclusive colors coming in the near future confirmed the Kardez partners.
“I like their products because they are extremely soft and comfortable—also because it’s supporting a great cause,” said satisfied customer, senior Eli Obrist.
Shirt prices range from $21.99-$29.99.
