Who doesn’t love a day at Kennywood? This year’s annual community day at the legendary amusement park, May 14, was a blast for all those in attendance!

While the weather report threatened rain (seemingly a sad tradition on Kennywood day), the day remained clear and sunny, allowing for a day of rollercoaster rides and Potato Patch fries.

Beaver Area High School junior Davis Amthor, who also works at the park, shared: “It was a lot of fun! I enjoyed the day out and seeing my coworkers there!”

Members of the community also were able to order tickets online for only $29.99 instead of the regular full all-day price of $44.99.

This is no ordinary year for the park either—2022 marks the 125th anniversary of Kennywood!
