Girls softball took the win against against Derry in the first round of playoffs with an impressive 18-3 pounding.

Freshman Peyton List hit one early in the first inning bringing the score to 2-0. After that the girls batted 14 runs in the next two innings.

Junior Lexi Dawson brought home three girls in a big hit during the second inning. After two innings the Bobcats were up 10-0. Sophomore Anna Blum and List each had two run shots during the third inning.

“It felt great to win this game, especially the way we did. I would say it was definitely one of our best games we played,” said Blum.

But all good things must come to an end. The next round of playoffs the girls went up against South Park but lost 5-4. It was a tough way to end the season, but the girls kept their heads held high.

“We played hard and we gave it our all in our game against South Park. I will miss my team and all the friends that turned into family. I will miss playing, but I’m excited to see what the future holds!” said senior Susan Hill.

The team loses only two seniors to graduation, so expect big things from these Bobcats next season as well!
