The Beaver Bobcats are starting off the baseball season with a great 4-1 record in 2022. With new and returning players showing great potential, the team is destined to be good this year.
The Bobcats played and won their first two games against New Castle March 29 and March 30. The first game they won 10-8, and the second they won 11-1.
Their third game they sadly lost 4-2 against Kiski Area March 31. But their two most recent games they won against Blackhawk 3-2 and a blowout 9-0.
Even after their wins, they cannot let that get to them, sophomore Corbin Sevick recommends.
“I think that we’re off to a good start to the season, but we can’t let that get to us. We all know that we are a good team, but we can never expect to win every game. We need to play every game like it’s the last game of the season to push us to our highest potential,” admitted Sevick.
