Good morning, my dear friends! I hope you all are having the most wonderful day, and if it has just started, I hope it soars above your expectations!
On this warm September morning, I share with you problems my readers have had as of late. I’ve chosen problems I believe we all can relate to, and I hope that my responses will put you all, readers and askers alike, at ease.
Our first problem is financial, and abrupt:
“AMY, how can I make money fast!?
— Bankrupt in Beaver”
This one is something we can all relate to. I am a retired senior on a fixed income, but I understand others are not as old as me. A popular way to make money is by getting a job, but I know some don't enjoy that lifestyle. I asked my grandson about this topic and he recommends NFT's, but I personally don't enjoy watching football. I'd rather sit home, write, or knit, and let my joys turn into a labor and then into capital.
Our next problem is from a lonely soul:
“Hi Amy! How do I get a homecoming date?
— Trying on Tusca”
I heavily relate to this one! When I was a young woman, I was boy crazy over this one senior. For the sake of privacy, let's call him C. Shinton. In hopes of making him ask me to homecoming, I sneaked into his house every night for three weeks to leave handwritten notes (some written in things other than ink) under his pillow and on his bedroom walls. On the day before homecoming, overcome with desperation, I attempted to kidnap him. I spent the next three months in a psychiatric ward and missed homecoming. Hope this helps!
Our last problem is from an inquisitive individual:
“Why are freshmen so short?
— Unsupportive Upperclassman”
Now this one is interesting. One of my sons, David, believes that the government wants to plant chips inside his brain. I don't know why he's so worried about it honestly—I love eating chips! Anyways, David believes the newly constructed cracker plant is actually making people get shorter. I don't know how true this is, but he told me it was revealed to him in a dream, so it's hard not to trust him!
Well, that’s all from me this week! Please remember friends: keep safe and well and enjoy the world as much as you can. If you ever need me, I’ll be here. Send me your questions at askamy333@gmail.com.
I love you all to bits and back! May your gods be with you.
