The Beaver Area High School Environmental Club continues to help keep our school and community clean and green.
The club regularly empties all of the paper recycling cans in every classroom and dump the paper into the bigger recycling bins in the back of the school.
The club also plans on helping with the local Arbor Day celebration in the spring.
“In the spring we help with Arbor Day and judge the students’ posters,” middle school science teacher and club sponsor Ms. Patti Jo Patton stated.
After school today, the Environmental Club has their first meeting.
Everybody is welcome to join.
The club meets once a month throughout the school year to handle recycling duties as well as engage in other environmentally positive initiatives.
If you have any interest in joining the club and can’t attend today, contact Ms. Patton.
The club has been going on for 26 years.
“I really like being able to clean up around our school and make our environment cleaner,” shared senior Zack Masters.
