Brandon Osborne wrapped up an amazing season at the PIAA state swimming championships at Bucknell University.
Osborne qualified to go to states in the 100 yard breaststroke and the 200 yard individual medley.
After breaking the school record in the 100 yard breaststroke with a 1:02.80 smashing the previous record of 1:03.08 seconds held by Cameron Clerci since 2012, Osborne qualified to travel to Bucknell.
At Bucknell March 18 and 19, Osborne placed 29 in Pennsylvania for the 200 yard individual medley.
“The pool was very nice and the competition was great,” Osborne stated.
He also placed 20 in the breaststroke and had the exact time that got his name on the Bobcat record board.
Right before Osborne traveled to Bucknell the Beaver Area Bobcat swim and dive team celebrated through a “closing the pool party.”
The Bobcat indoor pool is being completely renovated over the summer and will have many updated features including a new pool liner, new starting blocks, and two new diving boards.
