The undefeated Bobcats are prepared to dominate in the postseason.
May 2 the Bobcats softball team celebrated senior day. The senior girls, Ashlee Karas, Sheridan Springman, Payton List, and Hanna Crowe were honored in a pre-game ceremony where they received a gift from the team, were recognized for their athletic and school accomplishments, and shared their plans for after high school.
After the celebration, Coach Amy Haggart’s Bobcats took the field against Ambridge High School for a senior day double header. The entire team had a great evening at the plate which led the Bobcats to win the first game 8-3 and the second game 18-5 against the outgunned Bridgers.
List and junior Kayla Cornell each had a home run during the games.
“We had a great time in both games and we were able to work on our skills more during the games. We also got to celebrate our seniors and all of their accomplishments from the last four years,” shared Springman.
A couple days later, May 5, the Bobcats took the field against Blackhawk High School. Looking to remain undefeated, the Bobcats came out determined to beat the Cougars.
