It’s that time again. Oh yes, I’m talking about spooky season.
The last Thursday of October VSCO girls and Fortnite characters will be roaming the streets hunting for candy of all sorts. Can’t find a Halloween costume? Here are some ideas to get jazzed up for Halloween.
The VSCO girl. Yes, a VSCO girl: the girls who go “sksksksk” and “and I oop” around school carrying hydro flasks wherever they go with scrunchies running up and down their arms. For this costume all you need is an oversized shirt and gym shorts, then you’ll be all set to trick or treat—extra points for hair in a messy bun, a hydro flask, shell necklace, and friendship bracelets.
Besides VSCO girls, a group of girls (or boys) can dress up like M&M’s with each person a different candy color. Essentially, you wear an oversized shirt the color of your M&M, put an “M” on the shirt, and walk around trick or treating with a group of similarly dressed friends.
Halloween wouldn’t be Halloween without the iconic angel and devil costumes; oh yes, the iconic costume you see every Halloween night. All that is needed is a pair of wings and a halo or devil horns to put on your head and you and your BFF will be rolling in Milky Ways in no time.
Speaking of candy! Trick or treating always involves candy. Kit Kats, Reeses, Hershey’s, Milky Ways; you name it, we got it. The highlight to everyone’s night is running around, having fun with friends, and eating candy all night.
“I’ll definitely be hitting the houses with full-sized candy bars,” said junior Gabe Bianco, “who doesn’t love full sized Kit Kats and Hershey bars?”
The decision is yours. What candy will you hunt for this Halloween night? Most importantly who (or what) will you dress up as this Halloween night?
