It’s that giving season, and Beaver Area’s Teen Leadership Corps, led by club sponsor Mrs. Sarah Sams, has once again led a successful present drive for children in the Beaver County foster care system!

Using online gift registries, the club was able to collect gifts from the wish lists of 40 children in foster care. Through the wonderful generosity of Beaver Area students, staff, and community members, the group was able to purchase all the gifts from the registry in just two weeks beginning November 15!

Mrs. Sams stated, “Now that all of the gifts have been purchased we’re able to start packing them up. We’re so grateful for the help of the school community.”

TLC is now in the process of wrapping the presents and preparing them to be delivered to the children in time for the holidays.

With a mountain of gifts that would make Santa proud, any donations of wrapping paper to the club would be appreciated and can be given to Mrs. Sams in Room 200.
