Pack your bags, we’re going to Panama!

This exciting new trip is available for Beaver Area High School students.

This fun school trip is scheduled for July 2023 (but the exact dates are not confirmed yet). It will last for nine days, so try not to get homesick.

Naturally, all students who are taking Spanish are invited, but the trip is also open to any Beaver Area student. Spanish teacher Mrs. Zahn and assistant principal Mrs. Murphy are planning this excursion.

But a trip like this doesn’t come cheaply: it will cost approximately $3,000 for each person. But don’t freak out just yet—Mrs. Zahn is hoping a fundraiser will help lessen the cost for everyone.

“We have a lot of fundraising things to lower the cost for everyone. We are looking to have a dance, painting classes, and shirt sales to raise money for this trip,” said Mrs. Zahn.

On the trip, there are plenty of exciting things to do and beautiful places to see. Some places you will see if you go include: beaches, national parks, the Panama Canal, Panama City, and plenty of other wonderful places.

There is a limited number of people who can go, so register your spot now! Don’t miss out on this once in a lifetime experience!

“I’m most excited to share the adventure of travel with my students, and to get future students excited because I want to keep doing this for years to come!” Mrs. Zahn happily stated.

“I’ve always wanted to provide travel opportunities for the students here, and I believe that it was a travesty that we haven’t been able to until now,” she expressed.

This isn’t just a cool vacation though; school credit can be earned if you participate in this trip. If you want to have a blast seeing interesting new places while getting credit for college and high school, don’t miss out.

If enough people pitch in and participate, the trip will get the green light and the cost may decrease. There is no negative about going to this beautiful destination, so take advantage of this opportunity.
