New year, new policy.
This school year, a new policy has been implemented. No, not the controversial cell phone policy; instead, students aren’t able to hang any signs or posters in the hall without permission.
In the past, some signs and posters got out of hand, one could say.
The administration have finally put their collective feet down; now you have to go through them to post something on the school’s newly installed bulletin boards.
But don’t worry, anyone can contact a faculty member if they want to post something that is school appropriate (e.g., club meeting announcements, event information and promotion, awards and recognition notices, contest information, etc.).
Once submitted to the office, approved signs and posters will be displayed on the several new bulletin boards recently installed throughout the building.
However, any signs hung by students without permission will be taken down.
And remember, this is for the greater good of everyone—the school is not taking away your freedom; they just want to make sure inappropriate signs or other items in poor taste stay off the walls.
Begin this school year with a clean slate, clean walls, and keep Beaver Area High School a safe, positive environment for everyone.
