The 2021-2022 season has been tough for the Beaver Area Bobcats hockey team. Despite their hard work, the team sits at 0-13 without a single win.
Despite the losing record it’s not all bad news: the skating Cats have put pucks past goalies in all but four games netting 12.
Even though it is tough for a fan to watch their team lose, the Bobcats’ fans seem to make the most out of their recent losses, and they try to look at the bright side of the games.
“Although the team hasn’t had a great season, I really enjoy going to the game with my friends,” said sophomore Mia LaRose.
It seems tough for the players to go out and try their hardest and still not succeed, but they seem to be making the most out of it.
“We haven’t done great this season, which is disappointing. But it has been a lot of fun going out on the ice and playing with my teammates,” said sophomore defender Carter DeNelle.
The coaches, Bryan Vongray and his assistants Rob Dappenbrook and Bryan Flaugh, are always trying their best to motivate the team and do anything they can to help them succeed. But after everyone’s hard work their losing record seems to be staying the same; hopefully it can be turned around in their next game.
Make sure to support the Beaver Area hockey team so they can bring home a win against Plum January 20 at the Brady’s Run Ice Arena. Face-off is at 8:45 p.m.
