These two seniors love their sport, their team, and just have all the love for the game they play—Bobcat hockey.
Keither Kesler #71:
Kesler is a forward who has been playing hockey for six years and has loved every minute of it. His favorite hockey memory is winning a state title.
He plans to play hockey in college where he wants to study marketing.
Austin McElwain #97:
McElwain is also a forward who has been playing hockey for 11 years. His favorite hockey memory is winning the 3-on-3 championship.
He is still undecided on what he wants to do after high school.
These skating seniors are doing all they can to right the Bobcat season: he hockey team has a 1-7 record.
“It’s been a tough season, especially in the beginning. Lately we got some of our players back and have started to play well,” explained McElwain.
“This season has been hard but as a team, we made it through and have been playing better,” added Kesler.
The Bobcats’ next game is tomorrow when they face North Catholic at the UPMC Lemieux Sports Center in Cranberry.
