The Beaver Area Bobcats volleyball team is doing very well this year. With a 6-1 record and two new assistant coaches, great things are expected of the team.
“This season is going really well with the new coaches; I really like them both,” stated sophomore Mackenzie Fox.
“Our coaches are always trying to make our mental state better than the past coaches have, and they’re always trying to make the game more fun in general. I think this season with them is going great,” agreed sophomore Chloe List.
The volleyball team’s new assistant coaches are Joseph Koszelak and Jessica Samuels, and their head coach is Suze Pollins (the previous assistant coach).
The COVID-19 pandemic has not stopped the volleyball team this year.
“COVID hasn’t had much of an impact on our team this year,” said Fox. “Only one of our practices was canceled.”
Even though only one practice was canceled, the Bobcats are trying very hard to stay healthy and keep winning their games.
“I’m really proud of our team this year and of how comforting we all are of each other,” said sophomore Reaghan Carroll. “We’ve worked so hard and we always push each other to play the best we can.”
“We all work so well together as a team,” said Fox. “We’re always there for each other and we are always picking each other up.”
“I am so proud of how we have all come together as a team this year and how far we have all come with our skills,” agreed List.
