Spring is upon us, and summer is fast approaching. This means parties and going out, which also means you probably need to up your shoe game as Pittsburgh winters wreck all footwear. Here is a list of shoes I highly recommend picking up this season . . .
1.) Nike Air Max 97, $180
The Nike Air Max 97 is a slightly heavier shoe compared to Nike’s other popular sneakers, but with their electric colorways and chunky soles, the 97’s are a great pickup.
2.) Vans Anaheim Factory Style 73 DX, $80
Outfitted with a thicker sole than the classic Old Skool Vans everyone else is wearing, the Anaheim Vans offer superior comfort and can add a new look to your Vans collection. They’re inspired by Vans’ SoCal roots.
3.) Fila Ray, $65
If your life ambition is to be the ultimate 80’s American dad look no further than the Fila Rays. If chunky dad shoes are your thing this is the shoe you should cop.
4.) Adidas Stan Smith, $80
Probably one of Adidas’ most iconic silhouettes, the Stan Smiths look good and feel good whether you’re dressing up or down. This has been a must-have shoe since 1971. Yes, 1971.
5.) Nike VaporMax Flyknit, $190
Different from the other shoes in the list, the VaporMax is much more versatile. Their flyknit design keeps them light and makes them a perfect workout shoe, but they’re stylish enough to wear on the regular too.
6.) Adidas Ultraboost, $180
Again like the VaporMax, the Ultraboosts give you the best of both worlds: functionality and style. This is honestly one of the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn, and I strongly recommend picking up a pair.
