Tis’ the season to spend time with family and friends, but most importantly to give back to loved ones! Don’t know what to get for them this holiday season? Here are some easy last-minute suggestions!
Holiday Socks (you know, the fuzzy kind)
Nothing screams Christmas more than slipping your feet in fuzzy socks (well, actually screaming “CHRISTMAS!” as the top of your lungs, but work with me on this one). Socks are the perfect gift for the ideal Christmas morning—you could even stuff them in a stocking! (A stocking in a stocking? How meta.) Slip on those socks, sip some hot chocolate, and rock your socks and your Christmas morning!
Candles
Will it be the sweet aroma of hot chocolate, or perhaps the infamous peppermint smell? It’s up to you! Scented holiday candles are the perfect gift because they smell good and they can brighten anyone’s day (or night)! Yankee Candle or Bath and Body Works are sure to have some holiday themed candles. (And the fire-lovers are sure to cherish such a promethean present.)
Hot Chocolate Mix
Hot chocolate is popular this time of the season . . . and with good reason. As soon as you come in from shoveling the driveway or playing in the snow (making snow angels, of course) everyone turns to a warm cup of hot chocolate. Why not make it special and get French vanilla, caramel, mint, etc.? Try all of the flavors! With marshmallows, natch.
Mini Polaroid camera!
Let your friends capture the moments to remember with an instant Polaroid camera! Your friends can hang these fun throwback pictures on a wall, a bulletin board, or wherever their hearts desire. Make the memories last (especially on Christmas day)! Listening to Outkast while you shake it, shake, shake, shake, shake it like a Polaroid picture is optional.
Matching Pajamas!
This is a great one for all the Whos in Whoville! Why not get matching PJ’s for the whole family? Don’t forget to snap a family photo (Polaroid or otherwise)! This is a cute and fun idea that will bring your family closer together on Christmas morning. Don’t particularly like your family? Fine. They get the Who jammies and you wear the Grinch ones.
Loved ones can be hard to shop for, but it’s the thought that counts. Go out there (or online), shop, and get your holiday cheer on! Be safe, be healthy, and happy holidays!
