With the arrival of the long-awaited return to in-person school comes the excitement of showing off your fall wardrobe!

Fall trends this year consist of stylish masks, classic fall patterns like plaid, and iconic shoes.

“Since it’s not only fall season, but also Corona season and we have to wear masks, the masks can be a convenient accessory to stay safe and stylish,” said freshman Emma Malagise.

Malagise is keeping up with trendy prints right now with masks.

“My personal favorite masks are my zebra and leopard print ones because animal prints are so in right now and can spice up a plain outfit,” she remarked.

With her position as 2021’s class president, senior Jazlyn Yanssens is opting for a professional, but still festive look. Yanssens is keeping up with the trends of this fall by staying warm and fashionable.

“I’m so excited to wear plaid prints, especially plaid blazers,” she said.

To complete your fall fit, you need a stylish pair of shoes!

When it comes to shoes, everything old is new again. Shoes such as Doc Martens, Nike Blazer 77’s, Jordan 1’s, and Converse All-Stars have been in style recently. These shoes are wildly popular thanks to Instagram and TikTok influencers showcasing them on their posts.

Junior Casen Pontoli is known for his shoe game. This season we’re taking advice from Pontoli on what shoes to wear. Pontoli recently purchased Jordan 1’s and Jordan 4’s.

“They’re some of my favorite shoes, so yeah I’d recommend them to other people,” Pontoli said.

So get out of the Zoom zone and really get dressed for school for a change—but whatever fall styles you rock, don’t forget your mask.
