Despite a devastating 10-0 blanking to Indiana January 16, aren’t giving up. Freshman goalie Dominic Amthor faced a total of 53 shots that game.
“It was a tough game; Indiana is a really good team, but we gave it our best efforts and didn’t give up,” said sophomore left wing Luke Masters.
The Bobcats faced Wheeling Park January 21 and again January 28. In the first game against Wheeling Park the final score was 5-2. The Bobcats did not come out on top, but the goals were netted by senior defenseman Connor Hartman and sophomore right wing Josh Sitler.
The next game January 28 the score was a little closer 6-5, and even though the Bobcats lost they didn’t stop trying until the game was over showing that they could put points on the board.
February 4 the team faced Westmont Hilltop losing only 2-0. Although the Bobcats didn’t get a goal they gave the game their best effort.
The Bobcats’ next home game will be at Brady’s Run Ice Arena February 13 at 6:45 p.m. against Blackhawk; make sure you come out and support the team against their home-rink rivals!
