The Beaver Area Bobcats 2021 football season sadly came to an end just in time for the cold weather to roll in.
The Bobcats had a great comeback season this year with an 8-3 overall record, coming in second in the WPIAL AAAA Parkway Football Standing.
The Bobcats came extremely close in their first playoff game against the Laurel Highland Mustangs November 12, but they sadly lost in a heartbreaking 28-27, which brought an end to this year’s season.
Looking back on this year’s season, the Bobcats’ fans are very proud of how the team has played this year.
“I think that the Bobcats had a great season this year. They made the whole school proud of how well they played, and going to the games to watch them was such a fun time for all students,” said sophomore Lizzy Michael.
The Bobcats made their school proud this year under their new coach Cort Rowse with their exciting win and fun games—and leaves them with high expectations for the 2022 football season.
